To accommodate the need for increased warehouse storage and to minimize shipping delays Frigate Books is now warehousing and shipping from a city at some distance from Ruth's home. As a result, Frigate Books is sorry to advise that she is no longer able to autograph books before they are shipped.

When a new title is published Frigate Books authorizes a production quantity that should meet demand for a number of years. These larger production runs allow Frigate Books to offer consumers the lowest possible price. But eventually the time comes when the warehouse supply is so low that another production run is ordered to replenish the stock, and at that time the price must be reset to reflect increased production costs.
